about us

Welcome to Envision University

We’re here to help you collaborate with other professionals and researchers to close the gap between research and practice. Why? Because we know that establishing and following best practices in standards of care for your clients is important to you—and it’s important to us, too.

Making a difference so you can keep making a difference.

You needed more forums to meet other researchers, practitioners, industry reps and students to share your knowledge. So we launched the Envision conference in 2006. It was the first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary conference—and an instant success. Yet, it was clear that the conference was just the beginning of what we could, and should, do to respond to your need for education and research. We established Envision University for exactly this purpose.

Dedicated to professional education and development.

Envision University helps you stay at the forefront of research and the best practices in clinical care for your clients. How? By offering a range of educational and professional development resources that suit your needs.

The vision of Envision University is to provide multidisciplinary continuing education and research opportunities for low vision rehabilitation professionals and to establish best practices to ensure continued research and provide clinical care for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Our promise is to collaborate with vision rehabilitation and research professionals to provide relevant multidisciplinary continuing education and research opportunities that address practice gaps in current standards of care and research.
